Burkina Faso: $350 per cow, 2 per village = $2,800. The village women will own
the cows and be able to farm, providing food for their families and sell
vegetables for an income for clothing and medicine for their children.

SCHOLARSHIPS - AFGHANISTAN ADULT WOMEN - $355 EACH per YEAR
Scholarships for Afghan women at the Women to
the World Language and Technical Center school: $355 per year for 340 women (for
security purposes the names of the recipients cannot be released).
SMALL GREENHOUSES & VEGETABLE SEEDS - $150
Maxi-Terarium Program for Widows (Africa and Afghanistan) - This small
greenhouse allows the women to extend the growing seasons for basic survival and
income production as a micro-business. Handbuilt, $150 covers the cost of materials
and seeds.
LARGER GREENHOUSES - (Afghanistan) $485
$485 per manufactured greenhouse will provide food for multiple families in the refugee/returnee
camp north of Kabul. May also be used to generate income to help familes escape poverty.
MEDICAL TEXTBOOKS FOR AFGHANISTAN
Urgent need for medical textbooks or pharmaceutical catalogs to use to serve
the women & children in the Kabul area.
SPECIAL NEED - TRACTOR FOR AFRICA
Special Need: Tractor for 4 villages in the Province Du Yatenda, Burkina Faso
to use in agriculture = $30,000. The village women will use the tractor then
be able to lease it out to other villages in order to have an income to provide
for their families.
