While others were still assessing the problem, Women to the World had already delivered two container loads of used clothing and medical supplies worth more than $50,000 to suffering war widows and orphans.

A variety of training programs are offered. Seminars include:
- Project Design: Women develop project ideas and implementation plans.
- Management Training: Women with leadership gifts are taught to motivate and manage their project teams effectively.
- Family Health: Women learn the value and tools of a preventive approach to health care. Addresses issues from nutrition to pregnancy to care of the sick.

Fellowship of International Women (FIW) is an education and leadership partnership with international women living temporarily in the United States while their husbands are attending university or seminary classes. Its purpose is not only to orient and train women while they are here but also to empower them to help other women in their spheres of influence after they return home.
Often feeling isolated and confused, international women both wives of internationals and single women scholars face multiple challenges adjusting to a new culture. Women to the World is uniquely equipped to help in many of the areas of greatest need by training and equipping women leaders during a unique and strategic period of their lives. We are then available to follow up in their home countries with expert consultations, further training, and supervision as needed.
FIW chapters exist at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, IL and Covenant Theological Seminary, St. Louis, MO. Based on their experiences with FIW in the U.S., women have organized chapters in Singapore, Cambridge, UK, and other locations.
